Recommend Me A Package

Is there anything I could possibly download or buy that includes a variety of cool and atmospheric sounds??

I'm trying to get an electronica project started and figured one of these would come in handy :D
 
Native Instruments Absynth 3 is a GREAT softsynth that has a TON of atmospheric sounds.

Or... if you are just looking for sounds, checkout a few of the PROSESSIONS series by M-Audio.

Also check out PROSAMPLES by EASTWEST.

2 thumbs up for the Prosamples stuff. A few years back I was making my beats with fruity loops and got the ProSamples Vol 43 Real Drum Kits Disk. I still use it now sometimes in drumagog to trigger over crappy sounding drum recordings
 
Tried VST's

Hi,
Perhaps you would benefit from using VST synths, which are essentially 'virtual' instruments. They require a 'host' on which to run.

Well, I'm looking into around $150-300. I'm looking into Fruity and things like that.

I recently downloaded the demo version of FL Studio 7.
