Reaper Rocks...so far

I downloaded the latest version as I'm tired of spending big bucks for Cubase. So far I am very impressed with everything. I'm sure I'll find some of the drawbacks, but for the money this thing is incredible!

What are some of the gotchas and work-arounds I should be aware of? I'm just a hobbyist fiddling around in my spare time, so I'm not using it in any professional scenario.

The Cockos forums are full of all kinds of tweaks and work-arounds. Personally I've found no need to tweak until now (see my thread in this forum), seems I'm pushing the limits of the default memory settings.

If you're just recording for fun and doing pretty straight-ahead stuff, you'll find the program incredibly easy to use and quite intuitive. Likely never need to tweak or "work-around" anything.
