I have been to so many fucking music stores. Sam Ash, Guitar Center, Drummer's World, Norm's Music. And not one single fucking Sonor Force 3005. Its hard to find Mapex Pro M's too. Its like... all the drum sets that sound cool, no one has in stock. All they have is Pearl, Tama, and the occassional Ludwig and Yamaha. But no one has any fucking Sonors. Shit, I can find a DW in any one of these music stores, but I cant find a fucking Force 3005. I really don't wanna buy a drum set without trying it out first. I won't do that... but so far, the only drum sets I like are these freakishly expensive maple drum sets that I would take me years to save up for (the Tama Superstar was also OK, but I still say the maple drum sets were kick ass). And no one has the maple drum sets that are moderately priced. Does anyone know any store in NYC that sells Sonor Force 3005 and Mapex Pro M drum sets? How am I supposed to buy a drum set if I'm not even sure if its good? I don't wanna spend $1,300 on drum set, and then the day I get it find out its a piece of crap.
Also, does anyone know where I can get a Paiste Dark Energy 22" Ride Mark 1 for under $300? I tried it out at the store, it was really nice, but really expensive.
