Depends on how you define funny. Funny in that thousands of dollars in gear is still susceptible to such things. Or that duct tape, chicken wire, fishing line, and other stuff are common implements in a musicians / recording engineers arsenal.

Well I have since imagined a flock of yardbirds being recorded by turkeys in my studio. Yeah it is funny!
