Radio Shack Spl Meter

Okay, so I picked up an SPL meter from Radio Shack to see what my room is doing frequency-wise with a test tone CD. Here's my question...This meter can be set at 80 or 90 db, not the standard 85. Which one should I go with to be the most accurate? Thanks

Doesn't really matter. You can read -5 for 90 or +5 for 80. Your CD tones should specify which weighted scale A or C and wether slow or fast response is required.
