Yes, Uh... I have heard of that too, or nothing. Do you have any good stuff? I mean I could send them to the company for you If you need me to or something, I mean to make that rack out of them or something. If you send them 15 quality pedals, they will send you a top of the line, Alesis Nano Compressor.

black,

Do you want a processor specifically for guitar or a general purpose/all round processor? This question/post may have been better asked and answered in "The Rack" forum.

I have seen guitarists have their pedals modified to fit into a rack, but with all switching mounted in one unit on the floor.......if I can find out any more info I will post it here for you.

guitar...

i am actually looking for a processor specifally designed for guitarist. I don't want one of those processor/preamps though. I just want a processor.

Dude Fangar!
Please tell me more about the Rocktron you have. I need to get an effects soon. I am deciding if I should get the POD pro or anyother effects rack. Also is the Rocktron pluggable into a PC for home recording? Thanks in advance ;)

amt,

The Rocktron Intellifex and the POD are two very different machines. The POD is a nice amp and cab emulator for direct recording. Built in FX and some great tones.

The Intellifex, does not have a preamp in it. So if you are planning on using it for Guitar, you would still need to purchase a separate preamp for the front end (unless you record with a Mic'ed amp with an FX loop).

If you were to get the POD pro, then eventually get the Rocktron, that would be sweet. The POD Pro has an FX loop where you could place the FX in between the Preamp and the speaker emulator.

I don't have an Intellifex anymore, but I used one for quite some time and used to sell them. They were one of the cleanest processors that we carried. I was very happy with the unit, but sold all my rack stuff when I got a real job as I never used it anymore. =( Go listen to one at your local store. You should be pretty happy with the machine in that price range.

If u r looking at the Pod Pro also have a look at the Oberhiem G1000 they are avalible from www.musicyo.com The sound quality is meant to be better than the Pod Pro!
I use a Oberhiem G400 rack mount which my friends who own POD 2's say that the sound quality is better than the POD!
