hey Emeric, what happened to the tune? I listened to it, and got called away from the computer.. I came back and the tune was gone... I wanted to hear it again before I commented...

Anyway, I liked it.. It was like listening to the radio.. I cant comment in detail because the tune is gone...

what happened dude?

Hey b.sabbath. Sorry about that. After exporting it, converting it to mp3 and uploading it on my lighting fast 56K modem, I realized the bass guitar was gone in the second half of the song. After much aggravation I got it back in there again.

Try again.

Thanks.

It's not there yet, but will be in 10 mins or so. After listening to it now I must of mucked with the level of it along the way, now it's quieter. Oh well. At this rate I'll never get it uploaded, so it is what it is.

Well I liked the crap out of the Question so I can't wait to hear RIP

Hey,

Nice, solid tune overall.
I liked the organ in the intro a lot. I was missing it throughout the rest of the song. Nice back up vox but, again, they only showed up once. The lead git is kinda lost around the 4 min mark and the build on the way out gets too hot. Maybe remix and let the organ back in on the last minute along with those backup vox.
Like I said, the song is solid in form. Maybe needs some sprucing up in function.
Hope that helps.

Theron.

nice intro...but I found that it didn't really end up relating to the tune later on.
The guitars sound real good...Not toooo much crunch, just right.
The vocals are ok...nothing to jump up and down about, and just slightly below level (both volume and quality) compared to the music. The vocal delay is at a good level..but maybe could have been left out in the section starting at 1:40..as they are a bit too obvious there.
The BG vocals are very good, however...I like them.
You are consistant with drum sounds...good.
ooohh...the harmonies at 2:14 are on the edge of OK...wadda you think?
Nice lead guitar, nice and up front....and not just a blaze, for blaze sakes. But, the section after the lead seems a little empty...kinda anti climatic after the shortie lead.
By 4 minutes, the song could be fading out by now...I suppose this is the LP version;)

Nice tune...

hopefully you might have the time to check out some of my tunes...I'd be interested in your responses.

As always, great guitar sound/playing. Love the intro, and the song came in strong. The dynamic building is pretty cool around 4:00, but personally, I would like to hear it building up even further. Like people have covered, the vocal could be stronger. A bit more attitude is needed in my opinion. Is that you by the way?

Sorry to bug you about your POD paches again, but I went thru all the Mashal paches(like 50 of them) you sent me, and I still couldn't find anything that was close to the sound you had in the 3/4 3/4.... song. If you have a chance, can you please look it up again for me? I would love to use that sound. Thanks

wow

It's true that there are a few intonation issues with the vocals but man that's a good tune! I really liked the way your vocal harmonies dropped in and out at unexpected moments and I liked the chord structure. I especially liked the lead guitar at the end panned hard and sticking out like it did. Reminded me of some old Steve Miller ( before The Joker). The organ intro was also like his old albums. And the vocal structure sounded a bit like Badfinger, the groove too. I think this is one of the better songs I've heard here, I'd like to hear the vocals cleaned up intonationwise and maybe a bit more punch out of the bass and drums. This tunes worth putting some time into.

man this is good!I love the vocals.Top notch recording and song!

hey Emeric, it's B.SABBATH...:D I changed my name..

I really like the tune.. I must be a miserable dude because this sounds like a happy song to me..

There were some things mentioned that I agree with, (certain vox parts,) but for the most part it sounds like a radio tune IMOP.. Sunny day, things going good with the woman, top down on the way to the beach music.. At least that's what I get from it..

IMHOP, I think if you raised the volume of the music while you were singing, so you would have to sing louder and a bit stronger, it would be even better.. Again, your voice is very good in comparison to mine, so please take this for what it's worth......which is not much..

I like the tune a lot though.. sounds great as always..

later dude,

sam

"Anyway, another song off the endless project." Emeric

....beautiful guitars and background vocals!!!!!! ...truly. I too would be interested in what you are doing to get those lush r. guitar tones. ...very nice. Yea, the "only" complaint i would have is with the lead vocals. Like Sami said, maybe a little more "push" in the delivery. This is only a small complaint though, your recording sounds beautiful. You da man!
Mike:D

theron: yeah it is hot of the outro, not sure what's up there, sounds like it's clipping. Thanks!

mixmkr: The guitars at the start don't get repeated because I felt it would trample on everything too much. It does perhaps make it a bit disjointed. The harmonies at 2:14 are on the edge of being out of tune is that what you mean? heh. I will check out some of your tunes mixmkr, you've been kind enough to respond to most of mine.

A1A2: That's me on vocals yes. I know the delivery is weak, but I can't seem to change that. It's my style.... :) As far as the pod patches, I'll have a look but I don't think I could get the settings back to what they might have been. Try slamming on more compression and bring back the distortion and bass setting. Humbuckers help as well. Without a replicator I don't know that you can get the exact sound, but something close perhaps. I'll look again, I may have saved it. Thanks for listening!

Lt. Bob: Steve Miller's got some great tunes for sure, never listened to much Badfinger name rings a bell though. Thanks for the listen.

Thanks Kramer!

samicide: How do I know it's really you B.Sabbath? Sounds happy.. hmmm.. Will have to look into that!, it's not suppose to. Did you take the pyscho test in the Dragon Cave? Just kidding, appreciate the listen man! I really got to check out more of your stuff but their usually large files (lame excuses...).

Buffalo Bob: Working on it, bit by bit.

Guernica: You mean the electrics or acoustics? The electrics were sent through a POD and quadruple tracked, the acoustics were doubled (quadrupled at the end). Thanks for the comments.

Hey Emeric,
As usual, an enjoyable listening experience. Always dig the sound of your acoustics. Probably mentioned this one on other tunes also - maybe pump the snare harder... dunno, it just doesn't command attention. IMHO, of course. (As I've most always gigged as a drummer I'm probably biased.) :)
On the organ intro... you using the B4? Anyway, I thought that the rotation was a bit too wide...
Sounds great though, I don't mean to be overly nit-picking. Especially since I'm working on an "endless project" myself & haven't posted anything in a long, long while. :D

Hi jitteringjim. Yes that's a B4 at the start, I didn't spend much time tweaking the sound on it, but your right it does need some attention. The snare has a nasty ring to it, gating didn't help much so I may sample replace it or just leave it. Thanks for the feedback. And yeah, you haven't posted in awhile, get to it!

Emeric,

You're talent is well above average. Keep up the good work! I liked "On the Way Out" a lot, but "Question" blew me away! Damn! I can't believe I heard that on Nowhere Radio!

Twist

I like the organ intro. The acoustic guitar is great, but that odd farting noise haunts me again (or maybe there's something wrong at my end, since nobody else mentioned that). This tune would be so much better if you could correct that glitch. The drums are excellent, especially the snare. The kick could use slightly more punch, but not necessarily. This tune has a nice space, and I just love the way it grooves. You can sing and you've definately mixed this well. Just clean that fart-thing. This is catchy, and I like it. It started to remind me a little like Oasis, which isn't a bad thing at all in my book. I bet this tune could do well in radio.
