I'm planning on getting a Quiklok Z555 workstation stand to consolodate some equipment into a nice small everything-in-one-place setup. I've already determined that it has the features that I need and a place for everything that's going into it, but I hate to buy things that I haven't seen and there are none locally for me to check out.

Has anyone used or seen one of these? Any thoughts on build quality, durability, weight capacity, usefullness, etc?

Quicklok stuff is usually pretty decent. If you aren't tearing it down and setting it up every few days it should hold pretty well.

If you are handy with tools you could make your own console for the same money and get about 5x the worksurface.

It'll be more or less permanent installation, so I should be fine there. Honestly, I'd love to build my own, but I don't have the time, and believe it or not I'm looking for a *smaller* workstation to save some space for other things! Never thought I'd hear myself saying that!! :)
