we don't need rest!!
I thought I show how much a hack I am on guitar and therefore present a little more light on how worthless my opinion might/ought to be in this forum... should I be bold enough to make one!!

What I did;

first, I quickly made a sequence on my Roland xp keyboard for the drums and bass and did an 8 bar loop.

then..I just started adding sounds, and tried to present them in some kind of order. ... really clean, to mild overdrive, to getting heavy towards the end. At the very end, try to show some of the special effects possible with the GT-8

ALL of these guitar tracks are basically presets, and the only tweaking I did was to turn on the noise suppressor as needed and use the "tap" feature to get the delay on tempo. oh...and the wah wah. Other than that, these are pretty much the factory presets.

As far as recording...pretty much done on headphones, with a quickie check on my JBL 4311/Auratone monitors... but pretty much just a bunch of first takers.. Probably about 2 hrs involved from beginning to end to posting on the forum. The unit was plugged in directly to my Echo/Layla computer interface and recorded with Adobe Audition 1.5. Only volume changes were made in the computer. I did not use any EQ anywhere.
so...here it is http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=1322&alid=-1 entiltled GT-8 sampler

oh yeah...used a roland ready strat with the bridge/middle PU selection for all patches
