It sounds like the low end is floating a round a bit and is not as focused as it could be. Are you using any widening or chorusing in the low end or bass?

did you record that into pro tools? let me take a shot at trying to make it sound right for you, and if you didn't record into pro tools, bounce your track with no effects and optimize the levels back to normal and let me try it out.

If your good with the mix, maybe you good try an M/S technique for mastering.
When I quickly checked out the track via myspace, I checked it in mono and the focus seemed to improve quiet a bit. Maybe hp the bass and see if that clears anything up. Mids seemed to dominate but there were still a little cloudy.
I would try to get more definition.
I was liking the second song that you had on your MS player... not a full band but done very well.

Haha the second song was recorded really lofi. Guitar and Vocals with 1 Naiant X-Q and the violin with a pair of X-Qs. I like it though
I released that as as single with my record label. The guy is now playing some really big gigs, infront of over 100,000 people on friday playing before spanau ballet, supporting JLS soon and Will Young/Alexadra Burke in July. Things are really looking up. The 1st song is a band I've just started managing.
So mid-side mastering, what kind of things do you suggest I do?
