Yo somebody help me out
if i buy a shure microphone wat else do i have to buy with it so i can lay down some vocals??
and will any of this ish connect to my computer or watever?? im new at this studio stuff but im ready to start on a home studio so help me out yo thanks in advnace!!

Just connect the ish to the whatever........

mic > preamp > soundcard > software > CD burner > record producer > big cadallac/gold chains/booty calls.

That's all there is to it.......word.

so i can get one of those expensive mics and hook it up 2 the computer?? so where would the little cable thingy go on da computer yo :confused:
im really jus lookin for some really really clear vocals ya kno.....
Goto www.myspace.com/youngt and listen to wat they sound like now there not bad but its just a lil 2 much bass and not enough mic

Which expensive mics? The answer is probably no. Microphones need to be hooked up to preamps, which need to be hooked up to a interface (although in a pinch you can use you "line in" on your stock soundcard, but it'll sound like shit) which then hooks up to your computer (USB, Firewire, or PCI). The Samson mic I suggested is unique in that it is a mic, preamp, and interface all in one package.
