Quick hard drive mixdown question...

During mixdown playing the tracks fromt the HD to the mixer can you do it so as it plays all the tracks it will record back on all the tracks for a mixdown or do you need some type of 2 track recorder like that alesis mastering 2-track to mix down?

If you've got two open tracks on the HD unit, you could mix down to those...
