contracts
Ya, you do get what you pay for. I've had people ask me if they could touch up a leased beat. Sorry can't happen. You need ta buy an exclusive purchase. Sometimes I think people try to get over on you by doing that. They're getting a custom beat by you fixing up a leased beat. You have to stand your ground and let them know the difference of the two purchases.
Oh ya, and remember there are a lot of cats out there trying to get over on you. If you show your contract and say you won't hand over the beat till all paperwork is done, they'll run away like crazy and you'll never see them again. They'll try to play someone else then try to play you. Normally, only serious artists will buy beats after seeing the contracts, and that's people I only want to deal with anyway. Good business...
