What is their "B-Stock?" Is it items that are damaged, or what? I'm looking at a mixer that's close to 30% lower on a mixer I want than anywhere else, but it's the B-stock. And I can't find anything about it in their FAQ.

Good question! I would e-mail or call Zzounds to determine how the term applies to that specific item. They are usually prompt and helpful. I believe they also have some type of online service for "instant" replies to queries.

Some retailers with showrooms will include demo models in their b stock. Sometimes it refers to a factory second, perhaps an item that is fully functional and under warranty but failed some cosmetic aspect of the manufacturer's quality control. It could also be an item that was used in a trade show by the manufacturer or even sent out for a magazine review. I've even seen refurbished items listed under b stock. So, again, it's best to ask Zzounds for specifics.

Not a direct answer to your B-stock question, but I've had nothing but good experiences with ZZounds (better than with other on-line vendors such as Musicians Friend, B&H Photo/Pro Audio, etc.), so if the product comes with full warranty and the price is right I would go for it.

They have a toll-free number 800.996.8637, so you could just call them up and get an answer to your question immediately.

Thanks, I will call them. That seems to be the best course of action.
