The intonation screws (the ones with the springs that set the length of the string) on my Wilkinson brass saddle bridge (three-saddles) are stripped and I need new ones. Does anyone know if the same screws are used for the six-saddle bridges?

Thanks

Just a guess, but any #8 x 32 thread bolt should work. I may be off on the specs, but it's cheap enough to try a few different ones. Try 1.5" or so.

And go to an indie hardware store, NOT Home Depot or (horrors!) Lowe's. Those two places don't care to stock anything they can't sell a million of each day. Mom n Pop hardware stores are FAR more likely to have what you need.

Take one of the stripped screws with you and ask them to match it. It is possible the threads are metric. If possible get a tap and clean out the threads inside the saddles.

BTW, You may can get a short term remedy by swapping screws to different saddles. It may place the damaged threads outside the adjustment range.
