Although I am biased to my own music I think that my mixes are pretty good. But being that I am am amateur and you all know a lot more, I was hoping you guys could maybe give me your opinion about how they sound...

Thanks

I think your beats and samples are actually very good.

Very nice work, in fact.

Quite frankly, though, the quality of your vocal tracks is severely lacking. They're not polished . . . not up-front. They sound kind of amateur against your comparatively slick work on the beats and samples.

Also, I find much of your lyrics to be lacking in any real substance. This isn't as much of a personal knock as it is on most rap music in general. I think it's pretty much all (all rap music, that is) devoid of intelligent thought, which is sad.

The first song, to me, just sounded like a bunch of hate. In the first few lines, I think you've managed to offend women, gays, AND hispanics -- you've also managed to plea sympathy for deadbeat dads. Nice work. "F" this, "F" that. Muthafucka this, F'in ho that. Hey, look, ma! I can say muthafucka' too. Wow. Doesn't make me a lyricist. :D And from whare I'm sitting, hate doesn't speak to me in any artistic or thoughtful manner. It just kinda' makes me giggle at whomever is spewing the hate out of their mouths -- kinda' like all the nimwits I see on the Jerry Springer show. Turn the channel, please.

hey yo no dizzin on jerry springer thats the mofo shiznit for shizzle

thanks for the feedback..

thanks for the compliments on the beats...
i produced the beats, and my 3 boys did the lyrics..
I can see how you wouldnt like the lyrics and think they are hateful, but it is all in fun, and is not meant to be taken that harshly or seriously..
Food school clothes is not meant to offend or be hateful, its just a fun song about not being able to support kids all over the globe..
we are just having a good time, and trying to turn the tables on hip hop where all people do is take themselves extremely seriously and thats stupid..

music is meant to be fun, and thats what we are trying to bring to the game..

ALSO, how would you suggest making the lyrics more upfront, polished and sounding better?????
Thanks!!!!!!

So having your kids use words like : "Go F_ _ _ yourself, you faggot" is all meant in fun and jest. I get it.

And I can certainly see how a deadbeat dad saying his kids are "better off dead" can be taken as lighthearted. Oh yea.

Anway, I'm glad that you're being a good sport about things. :D

As far as the vocals go, just make sure you're using a good mic . . . recording in a well-treated or designed room, accoustically. Using a good mic pre and converters. From there, it's just a matter of using generous amounts of compression and EQ tastefully so as to pull the vocal forward, and to sculpt it a bit so as to be more articulate and detailed.

hahaha

first of all, they arent my Kids, they are my boys, as in my best friends...

I am 21 years old, and have no kids...

Check out the website, were just a bunch of weirdos who are having fun, dont get offended...

I see where you're coming from now.

My mistake.

I get a kick out of your photos -- some funny stuff. :D I know you guys are just fooling around and all, but you make some pretty slick beats.

No fooling around here..

Nah we're not fooling around at all, there is a difference..

We are having fun with the music, and are not trying to be like the 99.9999% of hip hop that is out there...

While we are having fun with it and all that, we are still taking this very serious and are currently playing shows in NYC, working on our 2nd album, and and are doing an upcoming college tour in September...

Thanks for checking the site out...
