In my music room, I have M-Audio BX8 monitors hooked up to a Soundcraft board, and I've been happy with them. I also have an upstairs computer that I'll mix at occasionally, and I listen to music on it (iTunes) a lot. The computer is hooked up to a small Yamaha MG 10/2 mixer which mixes a keyboard, sound module, and a CD player. I'd like to get a set of These for that system, but it doesn't have XLR outs and I don't know if the outputs on this mixer are TRS or not (can't find the manual). Is this likely to be a problem?

Sorry for the length of the post...

Looking at a brochure for the MG series of mixers on Yamaha's site, it appears that just about all the 1/4" connections are on TRS jacks.

Even if they arent you should be fine. The BX8a's will handle a balanced or unbalanced 1/4". I think the BX5's will too.

BTW the BX8a's are awesome speakers. I picked a pair up Sunday and love them so far.
