quality sound for vocals on Adobe Audition

for anyone who can help me i have a series of questions to ask

1. what are some good presets for compressing vocals?
2. i have a MXL 990 condenser mic but i still get the same quality,
what's the problem....
3. my mic seems to already have a natural reverb on it, should i put another on it or leave it be?
4. what are the best plug-ins i can use for Adobe Audition to make my quality better?

your room sound will impact vocals to an extent. try doubling the vocals.
also try on a double offsetting the double by a few milliseconds in time.
i cant go further because when i say what i use i get jumped on by people using other products,. so just search through my back posts using my name in the search engine. i'm feeling tired today, after shopping with the wife yesterday.
