I will not comment much on the musicianship. It speaks for itself.
I do like the singer. Not even the best song he sang, but the only one I had available at this point because I needed to do a push mix for the lead guitarist to "learn" a solo.
Anway. Pretty much no eq, just a hair of low shelf roll off on a few things, and a midrange scoop on the kick. Just a bit of compression on the vocals and a tad of reverb on the vocal, guitar, and snare. Mostly, the snare is being heard through the overheads. This is a kick mic and stereo overheads. The snare mic is feeding the reverb "pre-fader" so the actual track is not turned up in the mix at all.
I am contemplating bring in some other musicians to work on a few of the songs this singer sings for the band. Think he is worth a time investment?
