Pulsar-tech mic cables

I orderd two mic cables and a recording snake from pulsar tech because sombody on here recomended them for a cheap cable( they are super cheap) Does anybody now anything about them...hopefully they are better then hosa...Which brings me to my next question...if they suck i can always sel them on e-bay but how do i tell if the cables suck...When do i know it's not my recording, or the mic???

I bought a pair of Speakon to 1/4" speaker cables from them about a year ago, and have been very satisfied. They answered a question promptly via e-mail before the purchase, the cables arrived quickly, and appear to be of high quality. I've been gigging with them since, with no issues. I don't see what I would have gained by spending more $ elsewhere or on a different product.

I actually have a few of these mic cables, the cables are fine, the connectors are ok, just don't fit into my mics like the cheap whirlwind that I have. They fit and all, just a tighter fit. And the connectors I think are really just neutrik knock offs, guess they just made them a little, LITTLE, not a lot, big.

how do i tell if the cables suck

If they crackle or cut out completely, and your setup doesn't behave that way when you swap out those cables for new ones, all other things remaining equal, you probably have sucky cables.

I purchased one of their 12" monitor speakers and their 50' - 16 channel snake. I'm very satisfied with both purchases and have been gigging with both for a bit now - zero issues. Don't have any of their mic cables, but though I'd attest to the quality of their products.

I have a 8 channel snake and some insert snake cables.
Also picked up some 10 ft mic cables.
I might buy some more.

Pular Tech

My Pulsar Techs are gold plated, which I was looking for. They sound good.

I rarely move them from mic to mic so I never even noticed if there was any problem with the connectors.
