turnitdown, very cool mix. I've listened to many of these, but some people didn't really seem to want reviews from those of us who can offer no real help, so I didn't say anything on a lot of them. But I did try and steal ideas for mine.. :D I like yours alot. Very clean, but again, better than I can do, so I'm no real help. But now, 1 review.

Never got a chance to redo this one, so I guess it's my final. Thanks all for offering tracks, hosting, critiqueing, and judging.
 
Here is my final mix.
Side effects may include: Brain damage, Explosive diarrhea, or an uncontrolled urge to smear peanut butter all over yourself,roll around in birdseed,and run naked through an aviary. [ man I hate when that happens]
 
Ok here goes my final one.. Really haven't done much to it since the last "beta".

I tried to achieve modern yet quite natural sound with a bit "production" in it :p

I treated this song as kinda a progeish rock :confused:

EDIT: Hmh... The mp3 conversion did seem to add an odd very low "hiss" sound. It really isn't that big problem thou.. But just to let you know that the hiss doesn't exist in my wav file heh... eh.. uhm... :o

i hate converting really nice sounding wav files to mp3. even HQ mp3. it just kills the dynamics and feel of the mix, and it seems to bury things that otherwise stand out, and hypes/harshes things that were previously smooth. and this is when "bouncing to disk" with the same exact mix--just choosing a different destination format for the mixdown. i hate mp3.

grumble grumble, i feel your pain, grumble grumble

Ocnor, I now have explosive diarrhea, and just smeared it on myself. But, hey, my common cold is gone!!! Guess it's a trade off.... :eek:

Ok, seriously, good mix. I liked it. Like the side effects disclaimer too.

Modgeulator, nice mix. Very different than your first mix. Very clean. I like it.

My Final...

My computer is having problems, the power supply and cooling system, so it looks like the link on page 14 will be my final, so much for my hopes of being in the top.

Looks like I missed out on all the fun here. I listened to some of the final mixes and this song is awsome. I know I'm too late for the contest but is the ZIP file still up somewhere? I would really like to play around with it for experience sake.
