Ok I have ProTools 5.3 LE and I have the waves diamond bundle v.5 and when I install the diamond bundle it installs perfectly fine but when I go to locate the plugins in protools they aren't in my audiosuite drop down menu. anyone know what I could do to fix this??

Do you actually own waves v5?

I just find it surprising your spend that much money but still be running an archaic version of PT...

Anyways, have you check your version of waves is compatible with that old a copy of PT?

lol. I haven't checked the compatibility which I probably should've done but I am currently working on getting a 002 or 003 and a newer version of ProTools anyway, but even when I had v.4 of the diamond bundle it stopped working for some reason. I don't actually run this myself it's a friend of mine that runs it for me but he said it just dropped out one day. I think he may have possibly deleted something, but he hasn't said so. Is there any way of fixing this? could I just uninstall and reinstall protools without deleting my session data or maybe run some kind of repair with the setup disk without losing my saved info/files?

Digi 001

bro, if you have digi 001, i'm pretty sure you can get a free update to 6.4 on digidesign's website? All you need is your serial number thats in the getting started handbook that came with the digi001. I know for sure 6.4 is compatible with the newest version of waves, reason, even the 7.4 Le plug-ins (bombfactory, joemeek even the native instruments package, etc) as i used those right now with my spare studio(digi001 PT 6.4cs9)
