Sounds really good to me. Vocals are very nice, cool song!

liked this, guitars sounded good to me, same with vox...though they took an age to come in
not so keen on the drums...i think Id prefer a bongo, though it might make it sound dated....which may be no bad thing
solid track
I have a new mix, but I became tone deaf so I am letting it rest until I can get my ear back.
Coming right along. The bass level sounds inconsistent to me--fine for the most part, but some notes seem to recede into your mix. I'm not talking about normal playing dynamics. I'll say it again: This one is crying out for harmony vox.
Believe me, I'm not the guy you want singing on your tune!![]()
there's a buildup around ?1-1.5K? Guess: (I'm not always good with frequencies): on the guitar and vocal that's making it a bit harsh on the ears.
I agree with this comment. The vocal lacks warmth/proximity effect. Your singing is good, though and the song has potential. Listening on headphones the left-hand rack tom is panned much too wide and is pretty distracting. Perhaps move the toms in a bit and drop the left tom a dB or two in volume? The bottom end of the mix is just a bit thin to me - I think the kick could be a wee bit thicker sounding. The mix has very good clarity and separation, though - that's good. If you can warm up and smooth the vocal a bit that would go a long way towards fixing the mix, I think.
[edit] Just realised that you have later mixes that have fixed most of what I picked up on although the vocal still has a very narrow eq range. Good stuff.![]()
Listened to the last version. I thought it was very good. Everything is well balanced. Especially nice levels on the low end.
My only complaint is that the vocal sounds like it's "on top" of the band instead of "within" it. Seems like there isn't a spot carved out for it.
Other than that, it's a solid mix.
