"A 28 year-old man by the name of Mario Etheridge of Detroit has surrendered and is being detained by Detroit police for allegedly shooting Proof during the altercation at Triple C Club on Eight Mile in Detroit. Etheridge was also a bouncer at Triple C and is a relative of the other shooting victim, Keith Bender Jr., who remains in critical condition. It is reported that Proof pistol whipped and shot Bender (bouncer at Triple C as well) during the confrontation and was subsequently shot and killed by Etheridge. It is said that the 28 year-old is cooperating with authorities.
