What do you mean, "record all music & vocal on the same track "?

You would be better off recording vocals and music on different tracks, so you can mix ( adjust the volumes, pan sounds to the left or right, etc). Are you talking about taking a tape and turning it into a CD, or are you going to make recordings with different instruments?

JoyceBach, you'll need to provide us with some more information.

Because, if you want to "TRACK" your songs, you will need a program like COOL EDIT, SONAR, VEGAS, etc...
