Profitability: Are you in the Red or Black?

i voted "other" since it's just for personal use, but i am indeed in the black, in the sense that i've NEVER put anything on credit. i buy what i can afford, and i'm at a point where i can walk into my studio, turn everything on, push "record" and an entire band can proceed to knock out as many songs as they're able to.

cash only for the hobbyist is the only reasonable path. otherwise, i'd be redder than an irish communist turned inside out.
