Ok, hopefully I can figure this out because this is not a good sign.

I have installed the 66 into my pc, I have the breakout box hooked up and a pair of headphones connected to one of the outs. I set adobe audition to accept the delta is its device. I opened up the demo song, and played it. First problem, is I only hear the left side. It gets about halfway through and it freezes my pc. I get an error saying something about not being able to use WDM, and that it was disabling WDM. I reboot, play the song.. freezes pc again. I reboot, but don't get the message this time when I opened audition. I'm really confused by the H/W utility monitor mixer software that came with it, and I am stumped as to why it freezes just from playback. Any ideas?

the 66 has 4 MONO outputs. There is no amplification in the card to drive a set of headphones which are STEREO. Yopu wanna invest in a headphone amplifier to drive your cans and hear things in stereo.

As for freezing.... is your adobe audition and your windows genuine copys? If they are you should have no problems what so ever if you have the latest windows updates.

Hope that helps ya some

asio drivers

where do I get those? The only ones I found on the m-audio site were WDM
