Greetings all,
I just discovered your forums and it's at a good time...'cause I'm pullin my hair out.
I'm using an XP-50 and recently-purchased Cakewalk. Here's my story:

I've imported the patches for XP-50 and two expansion boards. I've assigned sets of different channels for each board, etc. I start a new track, assign a channel, and pick a patch like 'Vienna Strings', for example. The problem is that when I play the keyboard I hear some patch other than Vienna Strings or any other patch I choose. Cakewalk shows the patch name that I want to play, but that's not what I hear.

I believe the problem may be keyboard-related rather than Cakewalk-related. Is there something I should have changed within the XP-50? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Donavan

DUDE USE GENERIC PACHES AND JUST REMEMBER WHAT EACH NUBER LOOKS LIKE ON YOUR KEYBORD
THEN GOT AND DIFINE THE NAMES.
