Hi-
This is my 1st post to this forum- I'm hoping it will be an easy fix (I'm pretty much as newb as it gets when it comes to mixers and whatnot)...
So my bandmates and I have been working on getting a p.a. system working in our practice space, with intentions on taking it out gigging (for small rooms).
We previously bought Kustom (model kpc12m) monitor speaker cabinets and were hoping to use them as regular p.a. speakers. Using what little knowlege I have, I bought a powered mixer in order to get those speakers hummin'. I just bought a beringer pmh 100 (600 watt).
Now, I was assuming from various reviews and whatnot that I've read, that this setup would work pretty well- however, when I connected the monitors to the mixer, almost no sound comes out of the speakers. The main mix has to be up all the way for ANY sound to come from the speakers. The speakers are connected with regular 1/4 inch jacks to the Main Out part of the mixer. I also tried connecting them to the PWR AMP section which is directly under the Main Out with the same results...
Can anyone PLEASE help me out?

so, first make sure you're using speaker cords between you powered-mixers MAIN OUT and speaker input. Do not use guitar cables. Next, check the LED meters on your mixer to verify that signal is actually getting through to the main buss. If that don't fix it, read the manual for your mixer, you may have inadvertently muted something.
