Wuz up, fellas? I just entered the world of keyboards/digital pianos about a year ago, and fell in love with Kawai's piano sound (which I believe is grossly underrated). Since then, I've kept tabs on Kawai's instrument line up. I read in several places (including a seriously pissed off guy who spread angry reviews all over the internet) about a screw-up in the professional stage model, MP9500. Apparently, the main piano sound has about seven or eight notes that play the wrong sound only in the right audio outputs . I e-mailed Kawai and received an irratable response from the other end, assuring me that there was no problem, but confirming that the instrument was discontinued. Somehow, I don't buy this. I was just wondering if anyone using this forum has one of these instruments and has noticed a problem, or if anyone knows the truth on this.
NOTE: I'm just curious, if any of the members who were around for the highly amusing Skyy38 episode read this, I would love it if you could send me an e-mail telling me exactly what happened with him/her/it?! (from what I can gather Skyy was banned). I wasn't there, obviously, but I found the whole thing quite hilarious.
Thanks for any responses
