Hi, i've been working on a cubase project for a few months and recently it has a problem loading.
1. I open up cubase and it loads ok but when i open my projects it opens up but its frozen, as soon as i touch something in the projects it stucks and then crash.
when i try things like restart, unplug devices and stuff it suddenly works but if im closing it theres a small chance it will loads up again.
sometimes a spend hours making my project loads ok.

2. sometimes the project loads but with no sound at all, i checked all settings and everything is fine, the soundcard is detected and sets ok, in VST connections everything is ok too, nothing is in mute but there is no sound at all, the asio meter in vst performance is either stuck at one place or not showing at all.

How can i check what causing my project to crash? is there any log for that?
what causing my "no sound"?

Please help i'm desperate.
Thanks

I had something similar to this years ago. Nothing I tried worked. I ended up backing up my projects and did a fresh install of Windows and Cubase. Everything worked perfectly again after that. Hope you can figure out another way.

Have you added anything new to your system previous to this happening? A new plugin maybe? Something might be interfering with your interface.

Have you optimized your computer for audio performance?

Hi and thanks for your reply.
I reinstall windows 7 and the problem isnt solved.
cubase is working fine but this specific project is the big problem.
I tried to remove plug ins and it doesn't work,

Can you get as far as soloing a track and exporting it? If so--you could do that to all the tracks and then re-import them into a new Cubase document.

+1 to that idea. ^^^. Sounds like your .cpr file may be corrupted. If you cant get as far as that, you could start a new project, import the wav files from the audio folder for the corrupted file and go from there.

Good luck with that. :D
