problem recording using us 122 and kristal audio engine

i'm using a tascam us122 usb and kristal audio engine recording software... I have no problem recording & have no latency problems but I cant seem to use the computer speakers as monitors. any ideas?

Most likely because the tascam is selected (quite rightly) as your audio device.

Connect speakers for playback, monitoring and general listening to the tascam.

i.e. your computer speakers are only connected to the computer's soundcard, not to your us122...
Options are:
- connect headphones to us122
- connect computer speakers to us122
- connect hi-fi + speakers to us122
- connect powered monitors to us122 (best)

thanks for the help...not sure how to connect the us 122 to my computer speakers...went from the headphone jack to the computer but only got one speaker...will keep experimenting...thanks!
