Probably a really dumb newbie question - monitor connections

I am getting a pair of powered monitors. They have connections on the back for 1/4" jack and xlr type jack. I think it is a all in one type connector (KRK rp6).

My presonus saffire pro has 1/4" balanced outputs for the monitors. Does it matter if I use the 1/4" balanced on each end or does the monitor side need to have an xlr connector?

Just make sure the tip and ring on the 1/4" end go to the correct pins on the XLR end for the devices involved.

Use 1/4" TRS from your Saffire to the monitors and you're good to go.

Two of THESE would work fine.
