Pro Tools Only Editing

I'll be using 8 LE Pro Tools only for editing. Will I have to have an interface, M Box?

V9 was the first to drop the digi/avid/ maudio hardware tie.

If you want to get anything in or out of the computer, you need an interface with any sequencer....

OK, Tim is right.

To clarify, Protools 8 was the last to require specific branded hardware as a security measure.
PT 9 can just run using built in audio which is, of course, technically an interface.
