Well Mbox2 is a software/hardware combo, while Logic is just the software; you'd have to get a separate interface. I use protools with a 002R, it's pretty good, no real complaints other than the way Digidesign decides to roll out (and charge money for) upgrades and what IMO should be standard features. If you do upgrade hardware, with Mbox2, the only place to go is the 002R or 002. And you can only use one interface (no 002 AND Mbox, or 2 002R's for example). With Logic, you're not locked into Digidesign hardware, and I'm fairly sure it will support multiple interfaces for more inputs. Protools LE is nice if you're going to work with studios running Protools HD/TDM and are moving projects back and forth because the session files can be transfered. The downside is Protools does not support, without an add-on package that costs extra, the generic OMF format that other programs use, so if you want to work on a project someone started in another program, it's a little more complicated.
