PRO TOOLS LE with MOTU 828

Hi I am Running Protools LE, and I am trying to get it to run with my MOTU 828, However when it's started up withouth the MBox attached I get the error "Unable to create DAE deck". Does anybody know a possible work around for this?

Hey I get this same message when I have reason up and running before I start pro tools(LE) but when I star proo tools first then reason2.0 I am straight, I think it has something to do with the computers internal audio bussing and the way certain program share it.
I dont know if this helps at all. but my roomate was running pro tools with out the hardware for a while so i dont know if thats the problem. good luck.
