Pro Tools LE + MBox Question

If i have 2 x delta 1010LT cards.. and i have a copy of Protools 8 LE
and i have an original mbox.. can i use the original mbox to auth my way into the app?
and then switch my interface to my mpowered hardware?

i have seen pro tools 8 hd incl. mpowered etc
did they combine them both on pro tools 8 HD ?
or something?>

wow this seems like a noob post.. but ive read that the mbox interfaces act as the dongle..
if i have other "pro tools compatible' hardware would it let me "change my interface" after ive opened the app?

ie: launch pro tools 8 LE... with mbox 1 connected... switch to Delta 1010LT interface.. joy ?
i think i probably need mpowered 8 but i seen something about Protools 8.0.3 combining MP + HD...
and i know that specific hardware isnt even needed anymore in PT9.. but did that sort of start with 8?

Nope. Simple as that.
Le needs digi hardware, mpowered needs maudio, HD needs HD.

ok i think i saw some pirate hack job of a release that combined hd with mpowered..

but yes it would be lovely if it was nice + simple like that;l

Obviously you have no intention of downloading that. ;)

FWIW, PT9 and onwards are that simple. You can use any interface you like.
Just to cover myself, I'm sure there are some incompatible interfaces, but the point is you are no longer tied to a certain brand.
