Pro Tools 9 Hd help

Hey,

I have a bass track which is off during the chorus I wanted to do a ''drop in'' but I have no idea how I searched up on drop ins but couldn't find anything.​

I've seen it being done b4, where the track would play and I would start playing to get in time then the record button would be hit. (at least i think thats how it was working)
But I have no idea how to do this.

Can anyone help with this,

i think it can be done, but i'm not sure how to.

To be honest, if you're re recording a section in the middle of a previous recording, just do it with a run up.

By default, protools record is non destructive so you'll be able to extend all the regions to make it neat again afterwards.
