Presonus 24.4.2 not recognized by DAW??

I have had a frustrating time getting my presonus equipment to communicate with each other. I have spent three weeks kicking the problem around with presonus us IT. Does aNYONE IN THE AUDIENCE HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH PRESON US EQUIPMENT?
 
Installation can be tricky.

Firstly, what are you trying to connect the Presonus to?

Generally, Presonus installations need you to install the software first, then turn on the device. If you get it round the other way, it can cause lots of difficulties in getting recognition to happen.

What I did once when I got it round the wrong way was restore the PC to a an earlier time, then start again.

Also, you can download the latest drivers from the Presonus site. That can help as well.
 
What FireWire drivers are you using? Presonus insists on the legacy ones ( instructions are on their site) there are problems with later drivers.
