It's been forever since I've posted and I understand that my account doesn't show too much creditability do to lack of posting, however I did a lot of research on the items you've posted. I decided to go with the Presonus and really do love it. My favorite feature although, all of them in my opinion are good, is the impedance knob. It opens up many options for recording vocals up close or further away. I don't use the eq too often but I do use slight compression for recordings, I find it's very smooth and makes things easier to work with when mixing. I have tested the compressor on my roland electric drumset and it can really squash the drums, so the compressor works well. I think you get more than what you pay for, there's my 2 cents. If you want some sound clips I could do some for you that way you get a better idea. let me know.
