pre-historic drum machine.. "Rythm Ace"

Check this out.. some years ago, I found this old school drumming machine on a junkyard.. I think it's some pre-Roland analog beat machine or something. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Btw, it sounds like Modest Mouse used something similar on their "Float On"-Song..
