Problem :
Sound like power line noise mixed with Morse code that comes and goes. Almost sounds like hard drive writing. Its not Morse, I know CW well enough to its gibberish.
It maybe silent for hours then start on and off. Only lasts about 5 seconds or so. It Can repeat every few minutes. I can’t detect a pattern.
Testing:
I turned the mixer volume up, and the sound did not get louder.
I unplugged the audio feed to the monitor and the noise continued. I powered down the computer, but the noise continued. Turned off the lights, etc.
I turned off the monitor power, and the noise continued from speaker on my Weather Radio. Unplugged the weather radio and turned the monitor back on and it continued.
It stopped about 10 minutes ago, and hasn’t started again..
I can mic the monitor if you want to hear what it sounds like?
