I bought it brand new
July 1969
$425.00

I have dressed the frets so many times
It's nearly fretless.

I have always loved this Guitar
It's so light.
It plays like dream.

I had a thing for strats
untill I bought one.
They are the exact opposite.
Hard rock maple weighs a ton
The neck is shorter making the strings
hard as hell to bend because of the torque.
Any one that can make'em work has my admiration.

Being a big Blackmore fan (until he lost his 'Rock' mindset)
I can understand why he beat the hell
out of the floor, stage, amplifiers and everything else
with his Ax at the end of the show.
Turning it to splinters.
