Post your drumming videos and mp3s here!

thanks much dogman. i don't suppose you're into pre-primus claypool are you?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXl7elRp3QU&feature=related here's another. sound isn't quite as good, but it's live with about a third of the new kit. Jam night at windsor's rockin' horse saloon.

Pretty cool man...

I'm not sure I've heard anything from Claypool before Primus, but I have a lot of Primus....

check out sausage. Pretty much the original lineup of primus. some really cool stuff to be found. He was in a thrash metal band at some point before primus as well, though i'm not sure of the name.

riddles are abound tonight--i dug on that disc years ago. haven't listened to it in a really long time, but i remember i liked it better than primus, and i was a moderate primus fan up until they dropped brain. i much preferred his drumming over the new guy.

new guy? tim alexander? baaaaahhhh naah man tim was in primus from the start, they got brain for antipop, and then toured with tim again. tim was the reason i even started playing drums.

BUT i'm glad you know of riddles are abound tonight. i'm glad someone does anyway.

I'll have to get some decent sounding stuff of my playing on here sometime, i haven't got jack at the moment.

EDIT: Forgot about this!!!! the only half decent sample of my drummin' abilities i have. too bad it doesn't kick in till almost halfway through the tune. My guitarist and I were pullin' an all-nighter, and this is what came out of it. http://media.putfile.com/StreaksFromYourEyes

correction. antipop and brown album. i'm incredibly forgetful today............

oh crap. alexander was the guy i meant, not brain--he was the dumbed-down "bonham" type on the brown album. my bad. i unfortunately mistook brain's name for his playing style. :o

I had a few beers, wine and cigars with you....why didn't you teach me some drums, jackass?

i think we were both too drunk. :D

but surely i taught you a thing or two about love and sexual confusion, no?

Haha. yeah I don't mind brain, and i liked the stuff for what it was, but it was tim that really made primus shine for me.

No, I just want to not suck.

i'm not really sure that i know any more than the next guy. just lucky i guess. i had 9 years of piano lessons, beginning at age 6. i taught myself the drums beginning at age 15, so that's now 18 years of taking educated guesses on how to hit the drums. after awhile it becomes natural.

plus, being a fanatical listener of prog metal doesn't hurt.
