I haven't been following this battle but just peeped the beats, IMO Noddy took it. D-Ease and Reek tied @ #2 it's hard to decide between those 2. I didn't hear the kit but all the beats sound pretty cool.

I must agree that noddy's beat was the illest beat the student wins round 1 but the master will win round 2

My opinion probably don't matter, but I like Noddy's the best too...but good job to everyone for what you had to work with.
I did something with the pack too...I hope that's alright...I'll post it in a min. And I'd def be game for a sample battle if it's going down.

Overall, I think everyone has great talent! I also think, that Noddy as the student, will be a murderous beat maker. He's still realitivily new, and look where he's at in such a short time! All these beats were on & poppin', it was hard to make the decision between Reek & Noddy. When it came down to it. I graded it based on how you arranged the notes. Quality was much pretty decent, and all the mixing was pretty much impressive. The points really curved up & down inbetween Creativity & Interest. This set most of the beats from each other. Of course each beat had it's own creativity to it. I thought Reek & Noddy captured the moment so to speak with nice change ups, and drops, and a little extras here and there throughout the whole tracks. Congrats Noddy.
The Prize: $1,000,000 I wish... woulda entered it myself lol
The real prize.... will come soon in like a few months on another beat battle or something. Most likely some exposure to Dre's business manager, and one of Kanye's beat producers. Who knows from there. Maybe they'll hire one of you guys.

lol yeah that's how it went, Noddy, Reek, Call Me Cell & Vmock tied, and then D Ease.
Ok here's the fun, but maybe also the most hated part. Can any of you guys answer why the scores were like they were? Cypher each beat carefully, and then post up why. IE, why did Noddy get a 9 on arrangment? because the intro didn't stick for too long, and it wasn't the same thing throughout the whole intro like in many producers out there. His changed up somewhat throughout the whole intro, only had 1 full repeat at the very start, and then he dropped the beat. During the chorus to verse umm shit forgot the word, something like interchanging from chorus to verse, it was pretty smooth transaction << that's the word I'm looking for. Anyways, the transaction was pretty smooth. Also I notice a lot of producers tend to keep the verse section pretty simple, which is nice, but a little extras (also why creativity point was up), it broke it down during the verses. All instruments were timed near perfect together. And that lil synth at the start panned left to right to left again, and while that was going the Pizz1_A3 sample thing, played perfectly with that synth while it was panned. The track also gave a sense of Climax during the chorus. I think I mixed in some other than just the Arrangement, yeah decipher what each individuals done to the beat, and those beat makers, on your own beat, what type of effects did you use etc...
I think with the knowledge we'll gain, it can help push all producers to a better level. Agreed?

Yea i thought they were going to be judges also but they never showed, as for the next battle it will be a sampling beat contest that consists of 1 track with all drum breaks and a nother track with instruments and meoldies and such NO VOCALS..... we will do this battle when noddy feels he is ready to defend his title
