...get the Popper Stopper, one of the standard models (seems they call it the Stoppit these days) I paid about the same, $24 for it. Dual layer, and it kept my condenser mic pop-free in a small space with a 23-year-old female singer with big vocal delivery.

I feel like I need one for my sm57, when I sing into it or play acoustic into it. I get a lot of pops and stuff. What about a foam covering?

Foam windscreens (either the locking one by shure, or cheap ones from radio shack) are good enough for live performance, and they do stop pops, but a good pop filter will give you a better sound (less muffled).
