Ah yes - time to drink from the spring for a bit before coming down to the lowlands again. I think he's answered most questions 30 or 40 times by now anyway...
There's a Photoshop plug-in that you pick a photo you really like (say of a pretty mountain in the rockies) taken with REALLY nice gear (Canon 5D, L-lens, whatever, excellent light as well) and then you take your photo of the little hill in your backyard taken with your POS (errr, I mean P&S). You then get the f-stop/shutter speed/ISO of the good picture and apply it to your crappy hill picture. The resulting picture will look JUST like the shot from the Canon (no pun intended)
