Please listen and advise.

OH! You know, I really like cranking up Alice and Chains when I'm cruising in my Jeep and singing really loud. I do a really good imitation. I like the way my throat feels when I sing A&C... kind of that gutteral, swirly, vibrato thing. I can see how I probably sound a little like them... I listen to them alot - subliminal influence. Good call.
 
Jeeeze what a difference when I downloaded the song instead of streaming the lo-fi (Hi-fi no worky for me)....vocals/drums THERE....so good...I should have downloaded to begin with, stupid me.....gibs
 
Gibs, that's okay, I'm glad you were able to hear it the way I intended, but do you think maybe the drums should still come up a little? I'm thinking they still do. Anyway, it was good that you listened to the lo-fi first. I hadn't listened to the lo-fi one until after I posted the mp3 here, and when I did listen to the lo-fi I realized the vocals, because of the way I set them up and from what folks here have said, are getting really phased out (like a flanger) on the lo-fi version... I've gotta figure something out. I wonder how many folks listen to lo-fi streams as opposed to hi-fi streams...
 
The drums were heard better from the download, but yeah, they could still come up a bit I guess.........I'm probably the only one who can't get the hi-fi to work...my comp or server or both...but the download was worth it to hear that song....gibs
 
Dude. That is badass! Real nice job. I really the solo work and heavy guitar at 2:14. Thats sweet.
 
KingNothing, THANKS! What time did you listen to it (and in what time zone)? I made a mix change to it late lastnight and wondering if you heard that one or the old. Upon some of the great advice I've gotten so far on the song, I brought the levels of the drums up a little bit. I also started working on another song that I'll be posting soon. Thanks again!
 
Hmmm, I think i downloaded and listened to your tune at about 11:00 PST last night. I'll download it again and see if I downloaded the newer version. I think it might have been the newest version. Everything I heard sounded good, I really like the vocals and didnt think they were overprocessed at all.
