I have been posting the songs I'm mixing for an 8 song CD to get feedback on my balances and frequency choices, and so far, the overriding request has been for me to improve on the lower 3rd of these mixes, i.e. more "beefier" low mids, and a more supportive bass track. I experimented with some plug-ins, and my Trilian V-Bass software. Hope I'm improving. Let me know....

That kick drum sound and the bass guitar tone go perfectly together. That's a great-sounding low end. In my opinion.

Thanks NTB, besides using Ozone now in my mixes, I'm mixing at loud and soft volumes and it seems to help.

Dunno if you're improving. That's your call. But this mix sounds really really good at low volumes. Makes me wanna turn it up. Mm.

Not fussed on the vocal side reverb.
I reckon it'd sound better drier.
Song's good.
the unhappy horsey lead guitar is a little over the top - but then the whole shebang is I suppose.

What do you call an unhappy horsey with a carrot in its mouth? Shebang?
