i have a korg d12. i have much of it figured out, however, i still don't know how to bounce. say i record a drum machine, then want to add extra shots and blend it in so it all sounds like one kit. i record the extra shots on another track, then i'm lost. how do i combine it? same thing with guitar parts. i also want to add in horn parts, then combine all to one track. i read the manual and just don't get it. any help would be appreciated. thanks, dave

I think bouncing on that unit involves recording "Virtual Tracks" then using the Track page to assign the new virtual tracks to real tracks. seems a bit tedious to me.

The Bounce recording mode is selected on the Record page. The first tab selects the Record Mode (RecMode). Highlight Bounce using the cursor and then hit Enter to select it.

Turn off all the tracks in your mix except the ones you want to bounce (so, leave the drum tracks). Use the Track Select buttons above each fader to set the unwanted Tracks to the Mute position; the LED is off. then select the track you want to bounce TO, and enable record on it (red LED, i think). it should automatically enable the track below it too, cos the bounce is always stereo, so needs two tracks.

Start recording.

think that works.....good luck!
